This speaker fiasco
In the past two weeks, the House of Representatives has reached a new low! The house of representatives has always been a rowdy bunch this is no secret to those of us who pay attention to politics that said, this is different and a whole lot worse! I have paid attention to the politics for a long time now and I have never seen the degree of dysfunction that has been on display over these past two weeks! Keep in mind, I have seen some almighty scraps but never anything like this the dialogue is so poisonous and the hatred so personal then it violates even the lowest standards of dirty politics! The question is. where do Republicans go from here? I cannot speak for the Republicans in Congress and I do not intend to having said that, here is what I would propose to do. Firstly, I would empower the speaker pro temp to act as the speaker in his own right furthermore, I would propose this change by resolution rather than an election by the whole house.
